Oakvale is the largest accommodation venue with five bedrooms and three bathrooms with a spectacular view down a gorge towards the mountains. Large beams in the living room make this a spacious meeting place for families and friends. It has a double oven, micro-wave, dishwasher and double sink. An outside braai area next to a generous veranda makes it ideal for enjoying the outdoor life so popular in South Africa. All our cottages have an outside sitting area in summer and fireplaces inside for cold winter's nights. Wood is provided for these fires and for cooking on the coals if you wish to braai.

The bedrooms in Oakvale are arranged in two wings either side of the large living area. The kitchen forms part of the living area so those doing the cooking remain part of the social activity in the living room. Guests have requested that we remove the TV so we offer DSTV in the main house for popular sporting events but TV addicts should not choose Oakvale. Laila’s is the only cottage equipped with DSTV.
