1. Deposit and Confirmation
1.1 A deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
1.2 The deposit amount paid upon booking is non-refundable and will be regarded as the cancellation fee in the event of a cancellation.
2. Standard Cancellations
2.1 Cancellations made within 14 days prior to arrival will result in the forfeiture of 100% of the total prepayment.
2.2 Cancellations made between 15 and 28 days prior to arrival will result in the forfeiture of 75% of the deposit paid.
3. Peak Season Cancellations
3.1 For bookings during peak periods (including Christmas, Easter holidays, and recognised long weekends):
Cancellations made 28 days or less prior to arrival will result in the forfeiture of 100% of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will result in the forfeiture of the full deposit and the guest will remain liable for the balance of payment.
4. Early Departures and No-Shows
4.1 In the event of an early departure, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the unused portion of the booking will apply.
4.2 Failure to arrive on the scheduled date without prior written notice will result in the forfeiture of the full deposit, and the remaining balance of the reservation will be due in full.
5. Refunds
5.1 Any refund granted will be at the sole discretion of Honeywood Farm.
5.2 Approved refunds will be processed only after full payment has been received and confirmed.
5.3 Refunds may be subject to administrative or banking fees.
6. Amendments and Force Majeure
6.1 Honeywood Farm reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel any booking in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions).
6.2 In such cases, Honeywood Farm may, at its discretion, offer a rescheduled stay or partial refund.
7. Price Changes
All prices displayed on any Honeywood Farm website (www.honeywoodfarm.co.za) are subject to change until full payment is received. Honeywood Farm reserves the right, without prior notification, to adjust prices, which may become effective up to the date full payment is received. Honeywood Farm reserves the right to change any arrangement where neccessary. eg. Changes in local conditions or circumstances beyond our control. The client, in such cases, shall be entitled to a full refund of their deposit. A 50% deposit is payable to confirm booking.
8. Responsibility
Honeywood farm will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or any other irregularity that may be occasioned during the clients stay. Honeywood is a working farm and guests are requested to respect the ongoing activities.
9. Travel Insurance
Honeywood Farm strongly advises clients to purchase travel insurance. A disclaimer of liability must be signed on registration at Honeywood Farm.
10. Breakages
If any items are damaged during your stay, you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the item. Upon arrival please report any items which appear to be broken.
11. The Client and Authority
The person requesting such quotations / estimates or making such bookings or to whom any service is rendered, is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and to have the authority to do so on behalf of the person in who’s name the estimation or quotation or reservation is requested and / or provided and / or the person to whom the services are rendered (collectively referred to as “the Client”).
12. Acceptance
By confirming your booking and paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
